Jason Todd - The Ballad of Tam Lin

I was on something of a Jason Todd kick recently, after watching the DC's animated movie, "Under the Red Hood" a few times over. There's something so raw and unflinching about Jaybird which even bleeds through in an abbreviated and altered version of his story, like in the movie. It helps that Red Hood's/Jason Todd's voice actor is Jensen Ackles (I'm a HUUUUUGGEEEE Supernatural/SPN/Destiel *cough* FAN, holy shit). Seriously, I think Jensen was probably just sobbing throughout the whole last 30 min of the movie...the ache in his voice just SLAYS ME, every time. Every.Single.Time.

Anyway, I was inspired to create this Jaybird manip. The top and bottom pics have been adjusted to make them actually "line up" and the blood, symbols, and everything else was added by me in...Pixlr Editor, I think. The quote is from, "The Ballad of Tam Lin". I often see this photo of Jason Todd used in conjunction with an Oscar Wilde quote from, "The Ballad of Reading Gaol" so I wanted to change it up a bit. I think the Tam Lin quote gives a different feel to it, especially when you take into account the strange relationship between Bruce & Jason.
